Comments of a general nature may be submitted at any time.

Your Opinion Counts!

The most direct and important action you can take is to send a letter to the Federal Energy Resource Commission (FERC). The opinion of each private citizen becomes part of the public record used for consideration of the project.

What to say in your letter:

The content of the letter can be anything -- one sentence on up. Sample protest letter.

At the top of your letter put "Comment on FERC Project No. 12053" and your name and address. Sign it at the bottom. Mail one copy to:

Federal Energy Regulatory Commission
Magalie R. Salas, Secretary
888 First St. NE
Washington, DC 20426

You may also submit your letter online. Click here for instructions.

FERC comments will also be used jointly by the US Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management. Learn more about the FERC process here.
